Bon Odori 09

This one was back in July. Bon Odori is a Japanese festival which is also held every year in Malaysia. Unlike in Japan, the festival was held here to simply celebrate Japanese culture with yukatas, dancing, drum performances and Japanese food (LOADS of them). There were locals as well Japanese attending.

I was actually not quiet sure of coming, but I found a kimono at BTS (or was it supposed to be a yukata? haha) and was quiet excited about wearing it to the event and so we went; me and my friends.

We went there by taxi, fortunately. I couldn't imagine going there by bus while wearing something a bit uncommon lol

Everyone got a free fan printed with ads from sponsors lol. We ate and danced with the crowds though I had no idea on the dance moves. We just followed the performers haha





























I think next time I'll be going much more prepared ;)
